new header and it's here!!!

Made a new header and it cost me 3 hours :D
Couldn't decide how to color it and what pictures I should use.
I decided to keep my biggest crush Cote de Pablo as a header 'cause she is THE most gorgeous, funniest and sexiest woman on earth. At least I think so!!! I just love her being such a goofball and even with half a cake in the face she still looks amazing.
So what do you think? Doesn't my new header looks great? ;)

Another great thing happened today *smile*
I've got my own little piece of heaven. With that phrase I mean my "An evening with John Barrowman" DVD finally arrived. I can't stop watching this!!! He is so adorable and just too funny to be true. Love the fact that he ripped his trousers and then changed it 'cause the audience couldn'T stop laughing. Awww and his parents were on stage and his dad is sooo damn sweet. I love his stories about 'em in his biography "Anything Goes" which I bought some days ago. Now with their performance on this DVD they proofed that they really are such great parents as he wrote.

Okay that's enough for today. I keep watching the concert now and maybe work on some Cote de Pablo graphics. Gosh why am I so obsessed with her????

I really would like to know if someone knows how old are the characters? Ziva, Tony, McGee, Gibbs, & Abby? I know there are some hints how old they could be. I thought maybe someone would know some details. I have in mind, hat McGee is 2 years younger than Tony. But I'm not sure.
So people what do you know, guess, think?

It's a simple "lighten up dark Screens/Bases" tutorial.

Let's begin :

#1: I (and that's totally optional) copied the base and sharpened it.
Filter > Sharpen > Sharpen (mode: normal, opacity: 100%)

#2: Layer > Selective Coloring (mode: normal, opacity: 100%)
Reds: -70, 0, +65, 0
Yellows: -70, 0, -50, -30
Greens: +100, -100, +100, +100 (that's only useful if there's something green in the pic, like the hedge in this pic)
Whites: 0, 0, 0, -45
Neutrals: +3, 0, +5, 0
Blacks: 0, 0, 0, +10
If there's something blue in your pic you should change the "Blues" and/or the "Cyans".

Sooo here we go again with my next bunch of NCIS icons. First of all I have to say some words about the new season. I really was kinda scared, that something would happen to Ziva. Okay Cote told us, in the chat, that Ziva will be back in season 7. But you never know what the writers will come up with. 7x01 was just OMG ... I mean I was like ... OMG the whole time. Tony was just amaaaaaaaaazing. What he said ... and how he said it ... the whole team-definitions etc. He really rocked. And then finally he found her. I loved the look on his face. He was so happy and reliefed that she was alive. I understood Ziva, too. All she said ... it was kinda sad but I understand why she wanted to die. But when Tony said, that he couldn't live without her ... *sigh* loved that scene. One of the best thing was probably the caf-pow thing. Yeah you shouldn't import an US drink :) they can always trace it back ^^ Do I have to say, that Gibbs was amazing? No!!!

lense flower tut

Today we will create a nice lense flower like this one or this one
(image-heavy, made in cs2)

step1: create a new background (I choose a 300x300 layer so everything is a lot easier to see) and fill it with the color you like (I choose black, because of the contrast)

step2: duplicate that layer

step3: go filter>render>lens flare
make sure the brightness is 100% and 50-300mm zoom is selected, now drag the cross (by clicking) in the middle of the brightest circle. It should look like this:
then click okay.

step4: go edit>free transform and sqash the lense to the middle like that:

make sure it's located in the middle of the background, press enter

step5: copy the lense layer and go edit>free transform and rotate it 90°, press enter
now set this layer to lighten
now it should look like this:

step6: copy layer 5 and again edit>free transform
now you rotate it about -45°
you have this now:

step7: copy layer 6 and edit>free transform
now rotate the layer about 90°
the finished 300x300 lense flower should look like this:

step8: now merge all layers or if something isn't that symmetrical you can drag the individual layers that your flower looks like the one above.

step9: (optional) resize your flower
if you want a different color, make a new layer, fill it with a color you want (I used #8021c3) and put this layer to Color Dodge or what ever you prefer.
it then could look like that :

What can I say about Stana? Obviously she is one of the most gorgeous women I've ever seen. I adore her since she played the Hana Gitelman on Heroes. Gosh I think I have a crush on Israeli characters. Okay and then I became addicted with her in 'Castle' where she's as beautiful as usual. Last weekend I saw her in 'The Librarian: The Curse of the Judas Chalice'. Okay totally senseless this movie but she was sooooo amazing as Simone Renoir and especially as a vampire. And she can sing ... omg she can sing.
Let's face it. I have a crsuh on actresses who play Israeli and who can sing.

New Header

I made a new header and isn't it great???
Yesterday I saved about 300 Cote de Pablo pictures. Gosh, I was so excited to have the chance to look at all these amazing pictures. She is my addiction. I don't know how to say it differently. Cote de Pablo is and always will be my girl-crush. It doesn't matter what she wears or how her hair is done ... she's simply beautiful. But that's not all ... she is just so amazingly funny, smart and so talented. I mean she's a trained musical singer and her voice just rocks (like everythins else about her).
Because of the many pictures I saved, I actually dreamed of her. It was great but my stupid alarm clock woke me up before I had the chance to tell her how amazing she is. This dream made me smile the whole day.
Oh and all these pictures will become some great Icons *happydance* My inspiration is back. So another great fact about Cote is that she's now oficially my muse.

I have to tell you about the quotation of the header.
It's from the tv.com live-chat with Cote and Pauley. I participated in this chat and you won't believe it ... she really answered one of my questions. I was shocked and then so happy that I cried. It may seems silly but the fact that Cote de Pablo my favorite tv-star answered my question was so fricking unreal that I couldn't stop the tears.
And that's what I asked her:
"Cote - Is there a chance we'll see you on the big screen?"
and she answered:
"You never know. I would love to however the amount of work on NCIS - 10 months straight makes it hard. But if work and time permit me than absolutely - and a little luck and talent would help!"
I'm still stunned when I think about it. But what does she mean with "...and talent would help!" She's more talented than most of the actresses these days. She shouldn't think about not having enough talent for the big screen. She has more than enough.
And I have to add, that the chat started at 1pm in the United States. You may have noticed that I'm from Germany so here it started at 10pm and after twelve hours sitting in the university I kept myself awake with lots of black coffee (Gibbs-Style). You see I did a lot to get the chance to talk to her and I mean it worked.

Okay I'll stop here 'cause I'm kind of tired. I will turn the tv on and watch an episode of Torchwood or ER. I don't know yet.

It's totally weird how obsessed you can be with a tv show. I just love everything about NCIS, the stories, the characters, the actors ... EVERYTHING. In Germany we have some kind of summer-break (I call it synchronisation-break) and so I have to watch the reruns of season 5. I don't mind the reruns ... actually I love watching the old episodes since season 3, so I'm totally happy to watch a new old episode today.

It's quite unusual that I write some personal stuff here but I'm so happy right now, I just have to post some pictures.

A long time ago ... 3 weeks ago ... I went to that new and awesome Army-Shop. I was looking for some nice new Navy stuff ('cause I'm totally obsessed with NCIS and the US Navy, I just have to buy everything I see) and found a sweet Army-Bag and fell in love with it. So I asked the manager if they have this bag in different colors and he told me that he can order it in every color I wish. So I ordered a scottish checkered one. He (again) assured me, that it will arrive in less then two weeks. Yeah in his dreams :( I waited 3 weeks ... but today I got the call that the bag has arrived. I immediately went to the shop to buy the bag and 'cause I waited this long, he lowered the price for me *happydance*
Now it's mine ... and I'm still in love and forever will be ^^

The next thing I bought (okay my mum bought it for me) was some pencils. You simply have to know, that I'm totally addicted to pencils. If I see a colorful pencil I have to buy it. I love drawing and I at least need one pencil a week.

I'm really not one of the DiNozzo fan-girls :) so I totally love seeing Gibbs, Ziva & McGee working together. And I also love that McGee and Ziva are such an amazing team. This episode is one of my favourite so I captured it and made some Icons.
They're mostly of Ziva, 'cause she is my girl-crush :) In my eyes Cote de Pablo is one of the most beautiful actress on TV these days.
